Performances: Conrad to Perform with Reno Philharmonic

 
    On Sunday, March 14, and Tuesday, March 16, Conrad will perform Mozart Piano Concerto No. 22 with Reno Philharmonic as part of their MasterClassics series.  Conrad's appearance is sponsored by the Davidson Institute for Talent Development and Conrad is the 2008 Davidson Fellow Laureate.  For concerts details, click here and for info about the Davidson Institute, click here.


Performances: Conrad to Perform Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto #3 with Russian National Orchestra

 
    On Friday, March 12, at 7PM, Conrad will perform Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Russian National Orchestra in Boca Raton, Florida, as part of the Festival of the Arts BOCA 2010.  This is Conrad's fourth collaboration with the Russian National Orchestra and his second appearance at the Festival of the Arts BOCA.  The concert will be conducted by Maestro Constantine Kitsopoulos. Performances: Conrad to Give Piano Recital at The Rockefeller University in New York

 
    On Friday, February 26, Conrad will give a piano recital at Rockefeller University's Tri-Institutional Noon Recital Series at the Caspery Auditorium of The Rockefeller University.  He will perform works by Debussy, Chopin, Carl Vine, and Rachmaninoff.  The concert is presented by The Rockefeller University, the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and The Weill Medical College of Cornell University.  Admission is free to members of the Tri-Institutions and their guests.

Performances: Conrad To Perform Mozart and Beethoven Piano Concertos with Santa Fe ProMusica

 
    On January 28 and 30, 2010, Conrad will return to Santa Fe and perform two piano concertos with the Santa Fe ProMusica Chamber Orchestra at the Lensic Performing Arts Center in downtown Santa Fe.  This is Conrad's second collaboration with the orchestra and its music director Thomas O'Conner.  In January 2009, Conrad performed Mozart Concerto #20 in D minor and Beethoven Concerto #3 in C minor with the ensemble to great success, resulting in the immediate return this season.  This time, he will perform Mozart's Piano Concerto #22 in E-flat major on January 28, and Beethoven's Piano Concerto #4 in G Major on January 30.  For tickets and concert details, please click here.


Performances: Conrad's Piano Trio to Have World Premier Performances in Chicago

 
    Conrad's most recent composition, Piano Trio (2009), commissioned by Chicago's Music in the Loft concert series and the Lincoln Trio, will have its world premier performances on January 16 and 17, 2010 in Chicago by the Lincoln Trio.  The new piano trio, which contains two movements and is about 16 minutes long, "aims to search the endless possibilities and risks that love entails", as Conrad wrote in his program notes.  For more information about the concerts and tickets, please click here.


Performances: Conrad To Give Gilmore Rising Stars Recital

 
    On Sunday, January 17, 2010, Conrad will give his Gilmore Rising Stars recital in the Wellspring Theater in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Conrad's recital program will include Bach's French Overture, selections from Debussy and Rachmaninoff Preludes, Samuel Barber's Piano Sonata, as well as his own Fantasy-Sonata composed in 2008.  To read more about the Gilmore International Keyboard Festival and Awards and the Gilmore Foundation, please click here.  For more information about the Rising Stars Recital Series and tickets, click here.

Performances: Conrad to Give South American Recital Debut in Chile

 
    On Saturday, November 7, Conrad will be making his South American recital debut in Frutillar, Chile.  The gala concert is supporting education and the arts and will be held at noon at the beautiful Teatro del Lago.  Conrad will be performing works by Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Lowell Liebermann.  Click here for more information and tickets.


Performances: Conrad's String Quartet ''two worlds'' to be Performed in Chicago

 
    As the composer-in-residence for Chicago's Music in the Loft concert series, Conrad's string quartet "two worlds" composed in 2007 will be performed by the Biava Quartet on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 3 and 4, in Chicago's Music In the Loft concert series.  Throughout the season, Conrad's music will be featured and three more of his compositions will be performed.  For tickets and concerts time and venue, please click here.


Performances: Conrad to Give Free Recital at Julliard's Paul Hall

 
    On Saturday, October 24 at 5pm, Conrad will give his annual Julliard recital in Paul Hall.  This is a free recital, everyone is welcome and no tickets are required.  He will perform Bach's Overture in the French Style, BWV 831, Piano Sonata No. 1 by Australian composer Carl Vine, as well as selected Rachmaninoff Preludes from Op. 23 and 32.
